The Director of Enterprise Applications will lead the strategic direction of enterprise applications for Teachers College. They serve as an expert technical resource and key partner for the College regarding ERP systems and related applications, data, and integrations. Working with the CIO, peer IT Directors, school leadership, and both administrative and academic stakeholders, they will be responsible for the overall design, integration, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvements of critical applications and related technology. They will direct and implement best practices for development, integration, data standards, master data management, vendor selection and management, as well as being responsible for key academic and business unit outcomes reliant on application technology and integration. They will lead a team of approximately 15 IT professionals of varying levels of experience, requiring effective collaboration within a large and complex organization. They will manage the relationship with key technology partners, vendors, and consultants as well as help manage the entire systems lifecycle from idea proposal to retirement/replacement.
This position will work to improve critical administrative and academic outcomes by continuously evaluating and evolving the existing applications portfolio and working collaboratively to define continuous improvement as the needs and opportunities change. This position will also be responsible for evolving the school’s data warehouse, data management strategy, CRM, HCM, SaaS, and business intelligence environments. |
