Job Summary/Basic Function:
Shared responsibility between co-heads for all aspects of teaching a group of elementary-aged
children for the duration of the camp

  • Planning and pacing, and implementation of the curriculum
  • Collaboration with co-head and assistant teachers
  • Mentoring of assistant teachers who are current TC graduate students
  • Setting up and breaking down of age-appropriate classroom
  • Documentation of curriculum and feedback on each science lesson
  • Parent-teacher communication
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience teaching elementary-aged children as a lead teacher in their own classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MA or in progress

Salary Range:

$4,800 - $5,500

Work Modality:

Hybrid
