Job Summary/Basic Function:
Shared responsibility between co-heads for all aspects of teaching a group of elementary-aged
children for the duration of the camp
- Planning and pacing, and implementation of the curriculum
- Collaboration with co-head and assistant teachers
- Mentoring of assistant teachers who are current TC graduate students
- Setting up and breaking down of age-appropriate classroom
- Documentation of curriculum and feedback on each science lesson
- Parent-teacher communication
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience teaching elementary-aged children as a lead teacher in their own classroom
Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range:
$4,800 - $5,500
