Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Associate Director (AD) will report to the Executive Director (ED) of The International Laboratory for Research and Leadership in Interfaith Collaboration and Coexistence (TILRLICC or “the Lab”). The AD will supervise and manage all staff within the Lab.
The Associate Director (AD) will perform three primary functions: 1) Work closely with the ED on developing and maintaining strategic partnerships; 2) Collaborate on the production and dissemination of scholarly research and other publications; and 3) Support the conceptualization, organization and management of existing and future programs as per its stated Mission and Values.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Lab’s Executive Director to drive overall direction and programs.
- Provide strategic and technical leadership, drive performance and efficiencies.
- Leading and organizing priorities of all programs within the Lab.
- Leading and delegation of tasks with all Lab Staff Members and/or Consultants.
- Manage and mentor Staff members in the development of evidence-based educational and curricular content.
- Deliver workshops and educational content in-person and virtually.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver rigorous and innovative educational programming in service of expanding the impact of the Lab globally.
- Represent the Lab as an expert in the themes/subject areas that are in alignment with the Lab’s Mission.
- Assist the Executive Director in the conceptualization, design, organization, implementation, and review of all programming and event delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all events, on site, virtually or off-site.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree in education or related field
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written, listening, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong editing, proof-reading, and composition skills
- Ability to offer constructive feedback
- Experience in managing and working under grant-funded projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Education (i.e., applicant can be at the Candidacy Stage when applying for the Position)
- 5+ years’ experience in program development/management with a focus on violence prevention
- Demonstrable track-record of academic publications and research
Salary Range:
$99,200-$120,000
