Posting Summary:
The MST Department is seeking a Program Manager with a solid background in office management, program administration, and creative technology. This role supports the Department Chair, Director of Academic Administration, and Program Directors in department operations and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy problem solver who excels at transforming ideas into effective, creative solutions within a collaborative and energetic environment. The Program Manager will be supervised by and work closely with the Director of Academic Administration on all aspects of department and program administration.

Job Summary/Basic Function:
There are 3 administrative pillars to this job: (1) conducting general department administration, (2) providing administrative support to the Department Chair and 3 Program Directors, and (3) serving as MST Department’s creative technologist and marketing strategist. Therefore, the MST Department is looking for a skilled administrator who has the following:

Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience

● Proficiency in MS Office suite, Google suite (including Excel/Google Sheets), various social media platforms, marketing tools (i.e., Canva), and website-building tools. Ability and willingness to learn new software as needed.

● Familiarity with various forms of technology and a desire to learn, implement, and make improvements in new and existing systems

● Comprehensive office management and knowledge of staff supervision and development

● Knowledge of higher education institutions and culture

● Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, work independently, synthesize information, prioritize, and meet deadlines

● Experience collaborating with leadership to transform visions into reality using technology and creative software

● A thought leader with excellent judgment and proficiency at solving problems creatively, leading teams, and advocating for students, faculty, and staff while liaising across programs, departments, and the College as necessary.

● Proven experience in program management, administration, marketing, and developing creative assets

● Demonstrated oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in communicating about the department’s and programs’ needs and objectives

● Ability to work collaboratively across a large team in a collegial, energetic, and exciting work environment

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in higher education administration, particularly in collaborating with faculty, students, and administrative staff, with a strong dedication to working in an international, inclusive, and diverse academic department

● A strong interest in education, organizational leadership, and STEM, along with demonstrated digital marketing skills and proficiency in Excel/Sheets.

● Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, but not required.

Salary Range:

$55,000 - $66,000
