The Office of Graduate Student Life & Development (GSLD) at Teachers College, Columbia University (TC) encourages students to become familiar with programs and services designed to enhance the graduate student experience at Teachers College. The office is seeking a Graduate Fellow for Digital Engagement who will interpret data from the GSLD social media channels, Student Engagement Portal, and MarketingCloud mailings and assist with brainstorming and implementing new strategies in order to best capture the community audience. The Fellow will primarily plan for, create content/campaigns, and promote digital engagement through social media channels, mailings, and our Engagement Portal.

Reporting to the Director, Brand and Creative Studio, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring marketing and communications projects and campaigns within TC Generation within the Office of Institutional Advancement are completed efficiently and on time.
The Project Manager manages multiple project related activities which include all phases of development, including information gathering, timeline development, managing deliverables, and final delivery/execution. The role involves interfacing directly with project stakeholders, programs and departments across the College, vendors and others to clearly define project requirements, gather project detail and information, and provide updates.
The position will work closely with team members as part of a three-person Brand & Creative Studio team as well as with colleagues across the TC Generation team that also includes Strategic Communications, Digital Campus Infrastructure, and Omnichannel Marketing. The Project Manager will also have the opportunity to work with faculty, staff, and students across the College, as well. |
Technical Services Associate

The Gottesman Libraries is seeking an Associate to work in technical services areas including course reserves, interlibrary loan, collection maintenance, cataloging, and acquisitions. The Technical Services Associate will help the Teachers College community by participating in specific workflows that enable the discovery, access, and use of print, electronic, and digital collections. We are particularly interested in applicants who are creative problem solvers, enthusiastic team players, and committed to the Teachers College community. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in Gottesman’s collections, and comfortability completing routine tasks with high levels of accuracy and precision.
The Technical Services Associate will work in behind-the scenes areas of library operations, including digitization, interlibrary loan, book processing and repair, while supporting course reserves, inventory projects, and circulation. Tasks will include shelf reading, weeding, and shifting; spine label printing, print digitization, preparing material for interlibrary loan shipping and receiving, resolving errors in the library catalog, and book paging. The Associate may participate in special projects related to cataloging, metadata, and linked open data.

- Design and maintain grant website and set up (including domain and content management)
- Think of creative ways to implement ed-tech in the curriculum to support the learning experience (use and understanding of metaverse a huge plus)

o investigate best ways to integrate into the Canvas platform
o understand and implement new interactive designs to enhance the learning experience
- Design, build and maintain social media presence and implement a posting strategy
- Provide input for social media advertising campaigns
- Respond to all postings on social media channels
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for social media, email, blog and video channels
- Evaluate emerging social media, review and digital marketing channels and trends.
- Identify social media trends and insights
- Research how social media can be used for the grant cause in new and creative ways
- Creation of short video clips when needed for social or curriculum (understanding of scripting and editing)
- Manage all video
- Work with internal tech team (DFI, tech support) for enrollments and LMS set up
- Provide thought leadership and perspective on all aspects of tech, media, creative on all aspects of the grant
- Attendance at Internal Team Meeting on a weekly basis.

community. Techs are trained on the proper use of all our Media equipment.
They are responsible for the setup, operation, implementation & maintenance of all Media equipment in TCIT inventory: media consoles, media carts, document camera, 360 cameras, console + laptop computers( PCs and Macs), LCD projectors, AV cabling
microphones, screens, floor/table microphone stands, audio mixers, closed captioning devices, videoconferencing platforms + conference phones, web cams, USB microphones etc...
CTS are responsible for updating all PCs and Macs.
CTS also upgrade & update all software loaded on our PCs/Macs.
In between assigned scheduled tasks CTS should check with their shift supervisor for additional technical duties that may be delegated. |
