The Summer Principals- New York City are seeking part-time Technology Assistants to support technology and program related issues. This role is of critical importance to ensure the success of a seamless learning environment for online students. It is mandatory that this person reports each day promptly in-person to make sure that the technology needed for the online component is set-up prior to each course. This person must have strong working knowledge of technology and will act as technical support related to the College's online learning management system for online, hybrid, and web-augmented courses. This person must also have excellent oral / written communication skills and can create concise, professional content.
TCCS Daytime and ELO Assistants (Work Study)
Teachers College Community School (TCCS) is seeking multiple eligible 2021-2022 WORK STUDY students to work IN PERSON ONLY to monitor and manage lunch/recess periods, and assist with music and Spanish classes during the day. (An ability to understand music and Spanish is NOT required.) There are also positions available for Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) for after-school hours on Mondays and Wednesdays. To be considered for this position, candidates must be available to work during some portion of the school day and/or after-school hours from September 20, 2021 through May or June of 2022. Pay rate: $16/hour. Average hours per week: 6-10. This position may be combined with another work study position.
• Assist music or Spanish teachers during classes with equipment and classroom management
• Encourage students to choose healthy meal options and assist them during lunch as needed
• Monitor students and manage behavior in the cafeteria, during recess, or bathroom breaks

The Dean Hope Center for Educational and Psychological Services is the training clinic for graduate students from the clinical, counseling, school psychology, and reading programs. The work-study will assist graduate students and clients from the community coming to receive services at the center.

College Work Study 112296 CSH
The Developing Language and Literacy Lab, directed by Dr. Carol Scheffner Hammer, is involved in exciting new research, investigating linguistic development in bilingual children. A Graduate Assistant is needed to work on the project to assist with analysis of language samples. Candidates should have an undergraduate background in language development, linguistics, early childhood education, child development, psychology or assessment. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate strong communication. Spanish-English bilingual candidates are strongly preferred. Candidates will be expected to dedicate 5 hours per week to completing analysis of language samples, and to other tasks related to this research.
Off-Campus Work Study: College Road Skills Teacher
Community Impact has designed a course called College CAR (Classes And Resources) to help college bound Adults from our TASC and ESOL programs prepare for the rigor and demands in college. College CAR will help students who have their HSE diplomas improve reading fluency and comprehension as well as practice college level writing assignments such as critical essays, arguments and research papers. The curriculum also includes lessons about time management and self advocacy.
Donor Relations Work Study
We are searching for a self-assured, enthusiastic and detail-focused individual to assist with general administrative activities in support of a fun-loving, hard-working team. Donor Relations is part of the Office of Development and External Affairs. We work closely with major gift officers, faculty, students, donors and staff on a variety of day-to-day and special projects relating to gift stewardship. Our ideal candidate would be willing to commit for at least a year but we would prefer two years. Work hours will be scheduled between 9-6 pm weekdays, preferably with a commitment of 15 hours per week. The Position will be fully remote until offices open, schedule is flexible.
Work Study: Legal Outreach Academic Advisor
The Academic Advising Program is a crucial part of the organization's goal of placing disadvantaged students in competitive universities. Students in Academic Advising range in age from 13 to 17, and they attend general and specialized high schools throughout the five boroughs. The Academic Advising program normally operates four days a week, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, in accordance with the New York City public school system calendar. However, with the switch to virtual programming, the advising program has been more flexible in scheduling meetings with students during afterschool hours Monday through Thursday.
Alumni Relations Administration Work Study
The Alumni Relations Office is seeking an assistant to help coordinate logistics for alumni virtual events and assist with other administrative duties.
