Paulo Blikstein's Transformative Learning Technologies Laboratory (TLTL) at Columbia University, together with Michelle Wilkerson’s CoRE Lab at UC Berkeley, Aditi Wagh at MIT, and Engin Bumbacher at the Teacher University Vaud (Switzerland) are currently looking for a Postdoctoral Associate to join our team on a DRK-12 NSF grant titled: 'From Access to Sustainability: Investigating Ways to Foster Sustainable Use of Computational Modeling in K-12 Science Classrooms' This research and design project will investigate how computational modeling can be made a sustainable educational practice across middle school classrooms. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research, develop skills for future faculty positions, and participate in the vibrant research community of Columbia, Berkeley, and MIT, as well as working with international partners in Switzerland, Thailand, and Brazil.

The Dean Hope Center for Educational and Psychological Services (DHCEPS) is the in-house training setting for graduate students in the clinical, counseling, school psychology, reading specialist, and special education departments. The DHCEPS is a community-oriented setting that provides affordable psychological & psycho-educational assessments, individual & family psychotherapy, vocational & career counseling and reading remediation to community members from the greater New York City. The College Work Study person will work with the secretary and Associate Director to ensure smooth operation of the main office and testing library at DHCEPS. The staff will perform clerical duties including, but not limit to, deal with internal and external correspondence, set up and maintain filing systems, coordinate fee adjustment procedure and update information in the computer database program. The position will be supervised by the Associate Director. DHCEPS generally operates Monday to Thursday 9am to 9pm, Friday to Sunday 9am to 5pm during academic year. This is a temporary position lasting 6 weeks. Hours of work will be 9am-5pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
