TCIT Media Services is seeking work study Media Technicians for the 2022-2023 academic year.


  • Provides classroom AV / computer related technical support
  • Provides event technical support for main auditorium spaces
  • Troubleshoot and resolve all AV related classroom technical issues
  • Maintain and replace classroom related components and devices
  • Set-up video capturing and conferencing webcams and microphones
  • Set-up PA systems, microphones and digital audio & video recording devices
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have been awarded federal work-study for the term in which a work-study position is being sought.
    Must be a student matriculated in a TC degree program.
  • Must be able to abide by the Student Confidentiality Agreement.
  • Must be able to abide by the Student Privacy Requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some prior a-v experience preferred (but not necessary).
  • We are looking for bright courteous people who are willing to learn about technology & can provide exceptional & courteous service with a smile!

Compensation: $8,000 per student

Salary Range: $15.00 - $16 .00 / hr

Work Logistics: Entirely in person and onsite
