Proficiency using the Microsoft suite, Google apps and strong communication skills are required. Candidates should be resourceful, detail-oriented, dependable, and have an interest in higher education and issues of access to and success in postsecondary education. The ability to work as part of a team and to balance multiple project tasks are essential.

Research Team Coordination

  • Assist research teams with scheduling, notetaking and coordination of fieldwork activities, including scheduling participant interviews and site visits;
  • Coordinate with external research partners and research sites to schedule and plan meetings, visits, and dissemination activities;
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including conference registrations; collect and organize documentation for reimbursement;
  • Coordinate with the CCRC finance team to facilitate the execution of subaward and consulting agreements and funder reports.

Proposal Preparation

  • Assist senior researchers in submitting proposals to fund new research projects
  • Manage proposal timeline and checklists, and coordinate proposal activities, such as reaching out to potential research partners with requests related to participation in proposed projects.
  • Compile, format and proofread proposal documents, including biosketches, references, human subject narratives, data management plans and research narratives

Field Engagement

  • Liaise with CCRC’s director of applied learning to learn about field engagement and applied learning options for the focus area’s projects;
  • Provide organizational support for meetings, webinars, institutes and/or workshops;
  • Help to create, edit and format outreach materials, slide decks and participant materials for field engagement activities;
  • Liaise with TC’s instructional technology department to access TC resources, as needed.

CCRC Service

  • Participate in Center events and professional development activities;
  • As requested, serve on working groups to support CCRC’s equity mission; and
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent in education, training and experience)
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Track record of delivering high-quality work product under deadline
  • Good judgment, reliability, ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Google applications.
