Associate Director for Admission and Enrollment Management New York
40% ● Develop & execute strategies for promoting all four programs sponsored by the Center. ● Work with external partners to develop effective recruitment strategies that target educators who are recognized leaders or who have demonstrated leadership and demonstrated potential for leadership. ● Partner with 11 independent school associations throughout the world to promote & recruit for programs. ● Organize and attend admissions and recruiting events. ● Organize and conduct various webinars & other Zoom recruitment sessions. ● Design and plan off-campus admissions & alumni events. 20% ● Manage admission committee meetings to determine accepted students. ● Liaise and manage relationships with TC Departments. ● Review policies, processes and procedures to identify opportunities to improve the Center's effectiveness and efficiency regarding Admissions, enrollment management, and alumni volunteer management issues. ● Interview applicants who decide not to attend our programs to track their reasons and to identify areas of improvement in our processes. ● Serve as a core member of the administrative team in problem solving, visioning, and helping to shape policy and direction for the organization. ● Negotiate consultant agreements for hotels and site vendors. ● Other services as needed. 20% ● Secure and place students in practicum in schools throughout our independent school network. ● Oversee site sponsors who work with students. ● Support student enrollment needs. 20% ● Manage annual budget for admissions, recruitment, scholarship. ●Determine awards and grant to students. ● Input all students’ scholarship awards in Apex. ● Track awards throughout the duration of the student's time with the Center. ● Collaborate with team on admissions budget, materials, marketing, and targeted communications strategies.
CPRE Research Assistant New York
The Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) at Teachers College, Columbia University is seeking a part-time research assistant to support ongoing research. Primarily, the research assistant will conduct hands-on coding and data analysis of qualitative and quantitative data collected from multiple impact evaluations under the supervision of a senior research scientist and/or PI. He/she should be familiar with STATA, Atlas.ti, and Qualtrics. The research assistant may also organize data sets, arrange and conduct interviews to gather data, and write reports using both quantitative and qualitative data. Associate Director of Design Education New York
The Associate Director of Design Education’s responsibility is to manage operations for the DFI Gallery and Design Studio. The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of visual identity, fostering creativity, and promoting artistic excellence, in addition to ensuring the maintenance of assets and equipment. The candidate must be able to work closely with faculty, students, and administrators to assess the viability of projects and programming within the DFI gallery and design studio. This position requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge of design studio equipment and technology, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
Lecturer New York
The Program in International and Comparative Education (ICEd) at Teachers College, Columbia University, is seeking a full-time lecturer with a special focus on Families, Communities and Schools. This is a one-year academic appointment (paid over 12 months) with the possibility of renewal for up to three years. The lecturer will teach five courses, provide academic advisement to M.A. students in the ICEd program, carry out program-related work, and be expected to contribute to the overall operations of the program.
