Posting Summary:
Reporting to the Snr HRIS Analyst, the HRIS Analyst II will be responsible for supporting vital functions of the HRIS team which includes the maintenance and enhancements of the Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), and assists in implementing solutions that help to streamline and automate HR processes.

Job Summary/Basic Function:
The HRIS Analyst primarily supports the maintenance and enhancements of the Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) and assists in implementing solutions that help to streamline and automate HR processes. The HRIS Analyst also serves as the point of contact for the end-user system and technical support and training. The HRIS Analyst reports to the Senior HRIS Analyst and will be occasionally directed in several aspects of work, but will gain exposure to complex aspects of the job function.


CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems Maintenance & Quality Assurance

  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities and assists in developing standard reports for ongoing customer needs
  • Provides support for HRMS including researching and resolving HRMS issues, unexpected results or process flaws
  • Ensures data integrity in HR Systems through processing and periodic audits

End User Support & Training

  • End user support and change management across all HR systems, including process and procedure documentation
  • Develop user guides and trains users on HR technology and system

 

Systems Enhancements & Upgrades

  • Under the guidance of the Sr. HRIS Analyst, perform any system upgrades and enhancements which include, but not limited to the following activities: recommending solutions and helping to configure the system to meet the user requirements, testing and validation; and implementation

Collaboration

  • Under the guidance of the Senior HRIS Analyst, collaborate with HR stakeholders and business partners to create solutions that address current and future needs.

Other Duties as assigned

  • Any additional ad hoc duties that may arise in conjunction with any of the above duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education, training, and experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in HRIS, HR, or payroll
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite as well as the ability to learn and use web-based technology.
  • Experience supporting and acting as an administrator for a Talent Management System and/or HRMS
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels throughout the College
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects through successful planning, organizing, monitoring, prioritizing, time management and follow-through
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy and thoroughness when executing tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to be flexible and think quickly
  • Excellent documentation skills with high attention to detail
  • Must have a genuine desire to serve and work with a diverse population of different cultures, and demonstrate patience and dedication to meet their needs
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and successfully complete tasks and projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Systems configuration, reports development, and production support experience in Page Up and Ellucian Banner HR.
  • User guides development and end-user training experience
