The Office of Enrollment Marketing and Communications within Enrollment Management is looking for a work study with Summer 2021 availability as soon as possible, with the option to continue into the 2021/2022 academic year. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, have an attention to detail and have proficiency in various design software platforms and programs. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Office of Enrollment Marketing in the development of marketing-related projects, including print and digital advertisements, social media graphics and flyers;

    • Example: Assist with creating web banners for program specific advertising campaigns, such as the Admitted Student Event, CCP School Counseling Online, etc.

  • Assist in clerical tasks such as data entry into spreadsheets and digital file organization;

    • Example: Assist with updating a spreadsheet of all media spends across social media and paid search platforms such as Facebook Ad and Google Ads with the purpose of comparing actual spend to earlier estimates.

  • Review social media comments and determine if any action needs to be taken;

    • Example: Providing the contact information of the Admission department if a prospective student posts a question about tuition rates on a placed Facebook or Instagram ad.

  • Collaborate with the office staff to produce creative marketing content via social media marketing channels;

    • Example: Assist in creating copy/text for Facebook Posts with the express purpose of having Facebook users interact with the post (click, like, share, etc).

  • Liaise with vendors and media partners to obtain media kits and flight materials; 

    • Example: Reaching out to the New York Times to determine rates of running a print ad in the Education section and traffic creative.

  • Other tasks as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have been awarded federal work-study for the term in which a work-study position is being sought.

Must be a matriculated student.

Must be taking at least 6 credits (or equivalent, which includes full-time equivalent offerings - HBSK 6480, CCPJ 6480, CCPX 6480, or any 8900 course).

Full-time TC employees are not eligible for this position.

Must be able to abide by the Student Confidentiality Agreement.

Must be able to abide by the Student Privacy Requirements.

Must have been awarded federal work-study for the term in which a work-study position is being sought.

Must have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong Writer.

Experience with multi-page design layouts.

 

COMPENSATION:

Up to $9,000 total depending on actual hours worked
