Work Study: Part-time Office Assistant New York
The Office of Teacher Education is a resource center for students seeking to obtain information, materials and assistance in matters pertaining to student teaching and teacher certification. The office seeks applicants to assist with administrative matters and special office sponsored events and programs. Responsibilities: -Provide coverage for front desk and answer telephones; -Advertise office events by creating flyers and electronic bulletins; -Maintain office displays; -Assist with planning and coordinating office workshops and events; -Process tuition exemption vouchers; -Assist with processing of paperwork around bullying, school violence, and child abuse; -Assist with student teaching clearance process; -Liaise with P-12 teachers as well as TC faculty and staff; -Other duties as requested.
